I’m excited as the big day is on Sunday!
All of my training has culminated to this one moment. It’s been a great journey, but it has also had its ups & downs. I’ve done all I can and I’m confident in my ability to break the Guinness World Record for most burpees in one minute!
I began my training months ago and have followed a diet based on the results of my Resting Metabolic Rate test. I made sure to eat a pretty clean diet and always drank a lot of water. Nutrition is such a huge part of any training program, and it certainly helped to keep my body fueled with exactly the right amount of calories that I needed to reach my goals.
Up until about three weeks ago I was in beast mode for my workouts, which had me primed and ready to go. But as most of you know, I got into a little rumble recently with a go-cart and unfortunately … I lost. As a result, I got a couple of stitches and had to lay off of the training for a few weeks.
Now I’ve been back in the gym and it seems as if those weeks off actually helped. It’s almost like I didn’t skip a beat. As Rocky Balboa once said, “It’s not about how hard you fall. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep movin’ forward!”
